The Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF), would like to request your support for the SikhLEAD program, an initiative to inspire, train, and support a diverse, motivated and entrepreneurial group of young Sikh Americans as they prepare for a lifetime of community engagement and community leadership.
This year’s cohort consists of fourteen bright young Sikh-American individuals who are well into their professional internships—whether it’s on the hill or with a non-profit organization. Each intern brings his or her unique background and experience to their respective internships, since our interns are from all parts of the country, with all different backgrounds.
You can support these kids by donating to the SikhLEAD program today! Donations will aid SALDEF in continuing to host the SikhLEAD program, which is currently in its 9th consecutive year. It will also give Sikh-American youth from around the nation the opportunity of a lifetime to intern in either Washington, D.C. or New Jersey with national non-profits and congressmen.
