Established by a coalition of corporate and national community leaders, the Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) is being launched as a counterpart to other large funds established for specific racial and ethnic groups such as the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). The APIASF will be devoted solely to the financial scholarship needs of Asian and Pacific Islander American students. To mark its establishment, APIASF is staging launches across the nation.
