The internship program is an 8-12 week, N.J.-based experience allowing high school students, and college students to explore a potential career track while creating a network of professional and personal contacts.
SALDEF has now placed over 75 interns in New Jersey and in Washington D.C. We also host a series of special programs—including leadership workshops and networking events—to develop the next generation of Sikh American leaders.

These competitive positions have advanced the Sikh policy agenda and given Sikh American students or recent graduates unique opportunities. The application deadline is 11:59 pm ET on Sunday, February 28, 2019. Students of all academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Early applications will be given priority.
