2026 is a mid-term election year. At the federal level, these elections give you the power to decide control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate. And at the state and local levels, you can decide who has your community’s best interests in mind through state legislative elections and other local races.

You can call the Multilingual Voter Hotline toll free at 1-888-API-VOTE (1-888-274-8683). Volunteer operators are available, or you can leave a message requesting support in English or Punjabi.
Register to Vote or Check Your Status
One way to prepare for the election season is to register to vote. Some states also offer online voter registration.
