Primary Dates have Been Postponed

Elections across the country are being modified due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These modifications include postponing dates and moving voting entirely to mail-in ballots. It is important that we all follow these changes to ensure that we are informed and also have ample time to request, fill out, and return ballots.  As of now, the following states have either pushed back their primary or switched to voting by mail with extended deadlines – Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, West Virginia, Wyoming and Puerto Rico. It is important that you check with your local election commission and find out what your state is planning. In the case of mail-in ballots, the requests for the ballot may need to be done prior to election day. It is important that you request these ballots so you are able to vote on critical issues that face your community.
