DESCRIPTION:Help SALDEF Continue to Advocate for Sikh Americans\nAs the nation’s oldest Sikh-American advocacy organization\, SALDEF has worked to: \n\nTrain government agencies including the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)\, law enforcement\, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)\, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on Sikhism.\nFight for the freedom of religion to allow Sikhs to wear our articles of faith in professional settings\, federal\, state\, and local government\, and school districts across the United States\nCombat censorship and misrepresentation of the Sikh community\nAdvocate against hate crimes in the halls of Congress and through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Faith-Based Security Advisory Council\n\nWe cannot do this critical work without your support. Please consider making a donation today to help us continue our work of educating\, empowering\, and defending the Sikh American community and developing the leaders of tomorrow.
