This is a unique and exciting opportunity to support and strengthen the Sikh American community through SALDEF’s critical work defending civil rights, developing the next generation of Sikh American leaders, ensuring accurate portrayal of Sikhi and Sikhs, and protecting the civil rights of all Americans.
This year we are asking for applications from individuals with diverse experiences, backgrounds, ideas and perspectives. SALDEF has experienced remarkable growth over the past several years, adding in new and talented staff to shepherd the organization forward. Additionally, we are preparing to engage in a refresh of our strategic plan, ensuring our alignment with the Sikh American community’s needs across the country.
SALDEF encourages the nomination/application of individuals who are able to help execute our strategy, strengthen our grassroots outreach, broaden the membership base, assist in raising funds, and expand the organization.
