This year’s gala will feature entertainment by Red Baraat–heralded by NPR as a “bhangra-powered party starter”—alongside this year’s awardees:
- Dr. Narinder Singh Kapany, the father of fiber optics and leading philanthropist
- GAP, Inc. and advertising agency Peterson Milla Hooks, for proudly featuring the Sikh American identity, even in the face of ignorance
- The Southern Poverty Law Center, which will be honored for its leadership and commitment to positive change and advocacy
