| The past few weeks SALDEF has been working to connect the Sangat in the northeast and midwest to local, state and federal agencies. This was done through SALDEF’s signature Know Your Rights forums, connecting local Sangats with the Department of Justice, and taking the Sangat to meet their local officials and politicians. The purpose of these events is to empower the local community, give them the resources to connect with their local and state officials and also ensure the safety of the Sangat by setting up trainings such as active shooter response training. |
