Join Us for the Unity Walk in DC on September 10

Join SALDEF and an expected 1,000 people from all faiths on September 10th in Washington, DC from 1:30-5pm for the Unity Walk. SALDEF will also be participating in the Resource Fair at the Washington Hebrew Congregation. The walk itself is free and open to all to join but there is a suggested donation of $25 for adults and $10 for children, seniors and those of limited income. The walk will begin at the Washington Hebrew Congregation and continue through Embassy Row, stopping at various houses of worship along the way including: Annunciation Catholic Church, Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See to the United States, Community of Christ Church, Embassy Church, Indian Consulate, Islamic Center of Washington, DC Sikh Gurdwara, Soka Gakkai- USA, Buddhist Cultural Center, St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral, and St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral Washington Hebrew Congregation. The DC Gurdwara will also be serving langar and hosting a turban tying event during the walk. If you’d like to volunteer, please contact jaspreet@saldef.org.
