Dear Supporter, Throughout history, many leaders including Bhagat Singh Thind, have made great sacrifices to ensure that we can vote. SALDEF’s SikhVote initiative was created to further that vision and ensure that Sikhs can exercise their voting rights and grow in political power. To that end, SALDEF is organizing two special webinars for Sikhs in the Virginia Area who would like to volunteer with SALDEF to ensure equal voting rights for all Americans. The webinars will discuss why Virginia is an important state for this work and the steps YOU can take to decide the future of this country in the upcoming elections. Webinar 1: Sunday, September 20 from 4-6 pm Eastern Time Webinar 2: Thursday, September 24 from 6-8 pm Eastern Time We are looking for volunteers from ages 16-80 years old who are looking to get involved until Election Day.
