“SikhLEAD is a program that will change the landscape of Sikh influence in America.” Dr. Prabhjot Singh Today Tuesday, December 2, individuals across the United States will come together to participate in Giving Tuesday, a day that cultivates generosity and giving to others. As a Sikh who is dedicated to training the next generation of social advocates, I am keenly aware of the power of networks. SALDEF’s SikhLEAD program reaches future Sikh leaders at a critical point in their personal and professional growth and through its program and its network gives them the connections, aspiration, and guidance they need to succeed. This year, I had the pleasure of speaking to SikhLEAD participants on a career panel alongside Richard Lui of MSNBC, JJ Singh, economic adviser for Senator Chris Coons (D-Del.), Manmeet Kaur of CityHealthWorks, and Jaspreet Kaur, Navy JAG.
