In light of the tragic events in Wisconsin, SALDEF is extending the deadline for applications for this year”s class of the SikhLEAD Leadership Development Program (LDP) to Sunday, August 19th.
The events of the past week have shown the increased need we have for advanced engagement and leadership by young Sikh American students and professionals, and we are further committed to our mission of making sure the next generation of Sikh Americans — our doctors, filmmakers, authors, businessmen and women, educators, and engineers — have the skills and training they need to represent and empower themselves and our community. If you are interested in both fulfilling your own and the community”s potential apply now.
This program is designed to inspire, train, and support a diverse, motivated, and entrepreneurial group of young Sikh leaders as they prepare for a lifetime of community engagement and leadership.
